For us, we believe that if we want to continue to build a leading accident repair group, we must nurture, train and develop our team and particularly our younger apprentices.

A Just Car Clinics Advanced Apprenticeship will help you make the best start in your chosen career in the bodyshop industry. We have our own direct funding with the ‘Skills Funding Agency’ and offer Advanced Apprenticeships (NVQ Level 2 and 3) in Panel (vehicle body repair) and Paint (vehicle body refinishing).
Apprentice Panel Technician – you will learn how to realign damaged vehicles using up to date technology. You will learn how to weld, repair a damaged panel and to remove and replace panels.
Apprentice Paint Technician – you will learn how to prepare panels, colour match, mix paint and spray repaired vehicles.
The format of the apprenticeship is both work based ‘on the job’ training at the JCC site where you have been given your employment. Here you will be able to watch experienced members of staff at work, also have the opportunity and will be encouraged to, "have a go" at tasks yourself, and college based training at our Technical Training and Support Centre, or occasionally local college. As you work towards your formal technical qualification you will need to complete underpinning knowledge, assessments and assignments.
When joining Just Car Clinics you will be assigned a mentor (an experienced member of the team), who will be available throughout your apprenticeship. They will help you get the most out of your training and help you progress as quickly as possible.
All of our apprentices will attend an Induction Programme which contains the following; Insight into the Company; Company Structure; Health & Safety; Pension Advice; specific comprehensive details about your apprenticeship programme.
Ideally we look for 3 GCSE passes at C grade or above but are mostly looking for ability, enthusiasm and a commitment to be honest, punctual and hardworking throughout your apprenticeship.
As full employees, Just Car Clinics’ apprentices are paid whilst working towards their qualification (national minimum wage according to age) and are entitled to all team company benefits. Usually it takes 3 years to complete the full advance apprenticeship which includes NVQ level 2 and 3, technical certificate and key skills/functional skills.
