JUST CAR CLINICS EXPAND NETWORK FURTHER WITH SHIRES ACQUISITION

Just Car Clinics is pleased to announce the intended acquisition of Shires Accident Repair Centres in Gloucester and Leamington Spa and that the deal is expected to be concluded by 31st August.
 
The business in Gloucester is currently operational, working with a number of corporate clients and local businesses and employs 15 team members.  The newly constructed purpose built facility is located in the main road location and is therefore well positioned to offer future opportunity for the development of the Just Car Clinics retail strategy.  It is envisaged that Just Car Clinics will create a further 8 job opportunities within the next 12 months.
 
The Leamington Spa site will be the perfect complement to Just Car Clinics existing Midland based sites, at Hinckley, Stourbridge and Redditch.  The site has been closed for the last 6 months due to a lack of work provision, the opening of this will help to service existing clients and embrace new opportunities. It is expected that the site will employ approximately 15 people within the first 12 months of operation and once again.
 
Both sites will undergo an initial period of rebranding and redecoration with the Just Car Clinics distinct brand identity.
 
Barry Whittles commented “I have known Bob Geddes for a number of years and I was delighted when Bob called me to tell me he was thinking of retiring and hoped that his loyal staff would be able to join a company that was forward thinking in terms of customer service, bodyshop investment, employee retention and training.  Bob will remain with JCC in a part time role for 6 months during the integration process”
 
Bob Geddes said:  “Having worked for many years in the industry, the time has now come for me to take retirement.  With my son Marc wanting to emigrate to Australia, in essence this meant there were no family members to take on running the business.   Just Car Clinics seemed a natural fit to me and so I approached Barry with the proposition of them taking over the business.  I would to thank all my loyal staff, customers and clients over the years that I have been in business and wish everyone of them, and the Just Car Clinics team, the very best for the future.”
