05/12/2008 - Just Car Clinics in Grimsby earns PAS125 Kitemark

The Grimsby branch of Just Car Clinics (JCC) became the latest of the chain’s sites to have achieved the PAS125 Kitemark on Monday 22 December. The success in Grimsby follows successful assessments at sites across the country including Leeds and Hull.  

The Kitemark is an internationally recognised symbol of trust, integrity and quality developed by the British Standards Institute (BSI) in association with industry professionals. JCC is aiming for all of its sites to achieve the PAS125 Kitemark, following on from the success in Grimsby.  

General manager of JCC’s Grimsby site, Steve Story, said: “I am delighted that our assessment was successful. The Kitemark is something a lot of people are familiar with and it is a sign that we are dedicated to providing a high level of service and delivering quality work. People will see the Kitemark and know that they can trust the team at Just Car Clinics in Grimsby to do the best job.” 

Managing director of JCC, Barry Whittles, said: “We are very pleased that the team at Grimsby have achieved the PAS125 accreditation. It takes a lot of hard work and commitment from the whole team at the site to reach the required standard, passing the assessments shows that everyone at the site not only work to such a high standard, but that they work well together as a team.” 

To date, only around 250 vehicle body repair shops across the country have achieved the new standard. As part of the Kitemark standard, regular, unannounced BSI audits will ensure that the standards of JCC’s people, repair methods, equipment, materials, quality control checks, processes management and internal audits are maintained.
