20/08/2008 - Management restructure for Team JCC

The UK’s second largest independent collision repair chain has restructured its management team to enable business growth in the south of the country.Just Car Clinics (JCC) currently operates 21 branches across the country and is now looking southwards to maximise its growth potential.

Paul Wrigglesworth has been promoted to take on the newly created operations role of Regional Support Manager, which will see him looking after the Southern Region for JCC.The new role is part of JCC’s strategy to develop a regional cluster of up to eight sites by early 2009. Paul will initially take responsibility for the Hinckley site, working closely with a new General Manager before taking responsibility for JCC’s sites at Swindon and Banbury.

Barry Whittles, JCC’s chief executive, said: “We have continued to develop business in the south of the country and the current economic climate actually puts us in a strong position and provides a real window of opportunity for us.

"We have been inundated with numerous opportunities to buy body shops in the south, due to financial issues currently faced by many smaller businesses nationwide. Paul’s appointment in the new role will enable us to take full advantage of these opportunities and enjoy further business development.”

Paul, who took up his post in July, was previously General Manager at JCC’s Sheffield site.Other changes at JCC in the north have seen Mick Green take over responsibility for both Sheffield sites as general manager, working with assistant managers Paul Watts at Sutherland Street and Jordan Ashmore at Woodbourne Road.

Ian Anderson, who has been responsible for several business wins as assistant manager in Durham, has been appointed general manager at that branch.
