01/03/2008 - Just Car Clinic’s Durham branch celebrates first birthday milestone
The Durham branch of leading collision repair chain, Just Car Clinics, is celebrating after its first year of trading. The 27, 000 square-foot bodyshop was acquired in March last year, to become the 18th branch of the rapidly growing company.
The anniversary celebrations were marked with a JCC birthday cake cut by branch general manager, Paul Waites, and champagne shared by the clinic’s work force.
Mr Waites said: “I’m very proud of achieving this initial milestone. All my staff have worked extremely hard to make this a very successful year and we’re looking forward to many more in the future.” The Durham branch, located in a prime position alongside the A1 motorway, is one of JCC’s biggest clinics, with a 55 weekly throughput. Just Car Clinics was set up in 2003 and repairs over 40, 000 vehicles per week, making it the UK’s second largest independent collision repair chain. Barry Whittles, JCC’s chief executive, said: “I’m really pleased that the Durham branch has successfully completed its first year.
