Just Car Clinics expands further, as the Group announces acquisition of 20th branch located in Nottingham Just Car Clinics has announced the addition of its 20th branch – the Group’s seventh acquisition in the past twelve months. The acquisition sees Just Car Clinics, the UK’s second largest independent collision repair chain, further expanding its geographical spread. Barry Whittles, the Group’s Chief Executive, is delighted to continue the development of the Just Car Clinics chain after acquiring this branch in Freeth Street, Nottingham from Auto Insights. The site currently employs 13 team members and turns over approximately £1.5 million per annum. The new centre, which is located in a 15,000 square foot facility, will immediately be re-branded as Just Car Clinics and will undergo a 12 week period of development and integration to ensure that Just Car Clinics’ operating procedures and core values are instilled at all levels of the business and that the change process is both effective and rapid. It is intended that the Nottingham business will be expanded and will require relocating to larger, more modern facilities, within two to three years. The Group, which employs more than 500 people across its branches, now operates from 20 locations covering an area from Hinckley and Grantham in the South, up to Durham and Hartlepool in the North. Barry Whittles, managing director for Just Car Clinics said: “We are continuing to look at new opportunities to develop the Just Car Clinics brand and are delighted with our new acquisition.” “Nottingham is the next phase of the Group’s expansion - this new location continues the strategy of expanding our network of facilities by a combination of acquisitions and newly-developed locations and will complement existing facilities in Mansfield and Ilkeston and extend our customer offer in the Nottinghamshire area.”
