01/03/2007 - Just Car Clinics announces buyout of 27,000 square-foot bodyshop in north east – its 18th branch

Just Car Clinics, the UK’s second largest independent collision repair chain, has opened its 18th branch this month, following the acquisition of a 27,000 square-foot bodyshop in the north east of England.

Directors at Just Car Clinics, which has its training and support centre in Goole, East Yorkshire, say the acquisition of the Durham based accident repair centre, is part of their ambitious plans to develop the business on a national basis.

The new centre, which is ideally located alongside the A1 motorway, will be immediately re-branded as Just Car Clinics and will undergo a twelve-week period of development and integration to ensure that the Just Car Clinics’ operating procedures and core values are instilled at all levels of the business.

Just Car Clinics already operates a centre 30 miles away in Hartlepool which opened in September 2006. Just Car Clinics is one of the fastest growing businesses in its industry and has added five new branches in the last six months.

Barry Whittles, Just Car Clinics’ Chief Executive, said: “The acquisition of a new branch in Durham falls in line with our strategy to grow the business.

“We are delighted to be further developing the business and acquiring such a significant site in the north east of England, ideally located close to Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough.
