30/10/2006 - JCC expands further into Derbyshire and Lincolnshire with the announcement of two new sites

Just Car Clinics, the independent chain of collision repair centres, has today announced the acquisition of two further locations, in Grantham and Ilkeston, which takes its expanding number of sites to 17.

This investment in the Lincolnshire and Derbyshire area sees Just Car Clinics acquire two accident repair centres from Ilkeston Consumer Co-operative Society Limited. Located on the Manners Industrial Estate in Ilkeston and Tollmarch Road South in Grantham, the well established businesses currently employ 30 team members. Just Car Clinics is intending to build on its strong corporate client relationships and develop the businesses, increasing the employee opportunities at both locations.

The location of these two new branches complements Just Car Clinics’ existing facilities by expanding the Group’s geographical coverage, whilst being close enough to existing sites to share resources and balance workflows.

As part of a planned expansion programme, Just Car Clinics has now expanded its operations by four branches since September, with recent additions at Scarborough and Hartlepool. The Company now operates from 17 locations covering an area from Lincoln and Grantham in the South to Hartlepool in the North, with its head office and state-of-the-art training facility centrally located in Goole, East Yorkshire.

As with the previous acquisitions these two new businesses will be immediately rebranded under the Just Car Clinics banner and a twelve week integration plan will be implemented to ensure that the Company’s controls and procedures are in place. The integration will be overseen by JCC’s Regional Support Manager, Ian Crowther, and it is hoped that the site will be fully rebranded by February.

Barry Whittles, Just Car Clinics’ Chief Executive explained: “Since the middle of September we have added an additional four locations to the Group which represent fantastic opportunities for the Company.

“We already have established Car Clinics in Lincoln and Mansfield so it was an obvious choice to expand outwards from these locations and offer our corporate client’s a more convenient service across a wider geographical area.

“These developments are the result of twelve months of careful research to identify locations which meet our selection criteria and we are confident that the Businesses can be rapidly integrated into the Just Car Clinics Group.”
