Just Car Clinics announces its fifteenth site with the acquisition of Hartlepool-based business.

Just Car Clinic (JCC), the UK’s second largest independent collision repair chain, has today announced its acquisition of Parsons Accident Repair Centre in Hartlepool which will take the collision chain’s total number of branches to 15. JCC stepped in to buy the Bodyshop division of Parsons Truck Centre Limited, from Administrators. The deal will help to secure the future of the 26 team members who operate in the 22,000 square foot repair centre, and ensure continuity for its insurer corporate clients moving forward.

The Brenda Road site will open for business immediately under the Just Car Clinics banner and will undergo a 12-week period of development and integration to ensure that the Just Car Clinics’ core values are instilled at all levels of the business. The integration will be overseen by JCC’s Regional Support Manager, Paul Waites, who will work closely with the new team to ensure a smooth transition. JCC’s intention is to continue working with Parsons’ current clients, which includes Norwich Union, Co-operative Insurance Services, Admiral insurance Peugeot and Renault, and will look to further strengthen these relationships. The opening of a car clinic in Hartlepool will be the company’s first branch in Teeside and is part of its expansion plan which will see a structured growth of the group over the next three years

This news follows hot on the heels of the company’s announcement earlier in the month that it had acquired a site in Scarborough and the Yorkshire-based now has 15 sites based throughout the Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire regions.. Barry Whittles, Just Car Clinics’ Chief Executive explained: “This expansion means that we can service a much wider area which will enable us to offer our clients a more convenient service.”

“Over the past four years we have worked hard to develop the Just Car Clinics brand and we know that we have a tried and tested system that works for both our customers and staff. “It is an exciting time for us at the moment with the addition of two new branches. The Scarborough branch should be fully operational by October and we hope to have Hartlepool fully rebranded by December.” With a 400-strong team of staff, JCC had sales of £25m last year and repaired more than 25,000 vehicles.
