03/07/2006 - JCC win’s new group wide contract with Axa Insurance

Just Car Clinic (JCC), the UK’s second largest collision repair chain, is celebrating after winning a contract which will see the whole group acting as a named repairer for Axa Insurance Limited (AXA).

The contract win is the result of a three year-strong relationship between JCC and the national insurer and will see its 12 sites – based throughout the Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire regions – working closely with French based insurer on thousands of its motor insurance claims each year.

JCC, which turned over £25m last year and employs 405 people, is delighted to announce the securing of a group wide contract.

Before now, only six of JCC’s sites carried out work for AXA and they alone repaired over £2.3m worth of business in over the last three years. The new contract was won after a three month group wide pilot testing JCC’s cycle time management, systems and procedures. Managing Director Barry Whittles is delighted to be awarded the new contract.

He said: “We are naturally over the moon that all 12 of our sites have been selected as approved repairers for AXA, it’s a pleasure to work with a company of their size and with such a renowned reputation.

“As an organisation, JCC is very flexible across the board which I believe is one of the reasons we can service this client so well – we offer much more than just a repair service.

“Having always enjoyed a strong working relationship with them, the fact that all of our sites will now be approved repairers for AXA can only strengthen this even further.”
