25/07/2006 - JUST CAR CLINICS INVESTS IN THE LATEST WELDING TECHNOLOGY

JUST CAR CLINICS The U.K’s No 2 Collision Repair Centre network, have entered into an agreement with CAR-O-LINER to supply its groups bodyshops with the very latest SPOT WELDING and MIG BRAZING equipment to ensure its centers are at the forefront, when it comes to joining technology.

With modern cars increasing the use of high strength steels such as Dual Phase/ Press hardened and Boron. It is essential to join them together using the right methods and equipment. For this reason the CR530c 13,000 amp water cooled inverter SPOT WELDER and the CM220 MIG BRAZER from CAR-O-LINER were selected.

The contract includes a bespoke training package which by the time of publication every JCC panel Technician will have received comprehensive Metal Technology and welding training at their brand new Technical Support and Training Centre in Goole on Humberside.

Commenting on the contract Barry Whittles JCC’s CEO said “We have always been committed to invest heavily in the latest equipment and training, out of which we formed a customer-supplier partnership with CAR-O-LINER in the early 1990’s in the Dixon Car Clinic days. Since that time we have sent many of our Panel Technicians to CAR-O-LINER’s headquarters in Sweden to receive training in repair techniques using the latest equipment. We have been delighted with the performance of the equipment they have supplied and also with the level of Service and Support we receive from the CAR-O-LINER team.

This latest investment is just part of our ongoing plan to remain at the very forefront of the accident repair industry and deliver the best possible repair solutions to our customers.
